Thomas F. Monk was born in Aiken, South Carolina in 1966. He received his B.S. and J.D. degrees from the University of Alabama and his Master of Accounting from the University of Alabama in Birmingham.  Mr. Monk was in the U.S. Army from 1991 to 1995.

He was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 1999. His experience includes handling criminal and civil cases. He has handled criminal cases in municipal, district and circuit courts. His civil experience includes handling personal injury cases in the State of Alabama. Mr. Monk has also drafted numerous contracts encompassing a wide range of services and products for different types of business entities.

He is admitted to practice in all state and municipal courts in Alabama. He is also admitted to practice before the Middle and Southern Federal District Courts.
